Accommodation at Pieds dans L'eau is comprised of five self-catering beachfront holiday apartments in Anse Royale, a beautiful white sandy bay on the South East Coast of Mahe Island. All holiday apartments have seaviews, fully equipped kitchen, modern bathroom, wifi, close to all amenities, bus stop, small indian grocery stores, ATM machine and Post Office. Around Souris Island you can snorkel, swim or kayak. Tropical coral fish abound and the Takamaka and Coconut trees offer shade on the beautiful sandy beach of Anse Royale. The reef fringed bay of Anse Royale offers safe swimming year round for children, swimming at low tide and high tide and excellent snorkelling adventures.
Pieds dans L'eau 'Guesthouse' has its own restaurant LES DAUPHINS HEUREUX, offering breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea and dinner, open every day except Sunday evening. Clients can book on Bed & Breakfast, Halfboard or Full board.
Every Sunday lunchtime we serve our Buffet Creole - Listing a few items on the menu : Grilled red snapper, Octopus Curry, Kat kat banane, Mango Salad, Aubergine Fritters, Job Mayonnaise, Daube de Banane, Nougat Coco, Crepes with home made Papaya jam, etc.
Our Hotel services include : Daily maid service, Y-King trio of shower gel, shampoo and nourishing Seychelles coconut oil, Wifi, starterpack of Seychelles Vanilla Tea, coffee, milk, farm fresh eggs, bread, butter, homemade jam, juice and bottled water for stays of more than three days. All towels and linen are provided as well as beach towels. An outside shower, kayaks and beach chairs are available for guests' use.

Pieds Dans L'eau is situated in the village of Anse Royale, 9 km from the airport, 16 km from Victoria and within walking distance of a branch of the MCB bank and ATM machine, Post Office, small indian grocery shops, a souvenir shop, bus stops to the capital, Victoria and with easy access to South Mahe where the more pristine beaches and bays are waiting to be explored.
Pied Dans L’Eau's Creole restaurant "Les Dauphins Heureux", offers an enticing menu of local Creole and international cuisine at attractive prices in a beautiful setting, with open air dining, overlooking the ocean and beach of Anse Royale. Musical Entertainment on weekend evenings feature local artists. Our Sunday Creole Buffet features grilled red snapper, octopus curry, kat kat banane (green bananas cooked in coconut milk - a local favourite) and many more exotic dishes.

You will find close by :
- Indian shops in the village where you can buy anything from Seychelles Vanilla tea (a great gift for those not lucky enough to travel to Seychelles) to sandals, fish tackle or the one and only Seychelles island beer, an ice cold Seybrew.
- An open air fish bazaar close by where if you venture out early you will catch a glimpse of the day's catch, depending on the season, Red Snapper, Dorado, Bonito, Big Eyed Tuna, Shark, Bordomar, Mackerel, Barracuda, in the afternoon coral fish such as small groupers or kakatoi (parrot fish) from the fishermen's casiers (fish traps).
- Anse Royale Bay where we are located offers excellent snorkeling in beautiful clear 'barashua' waters. You can snorkel to Souris Island at low tide or take a kayak to the island and explore. Reef shoes are recommended. Fishing with local fishermen can sometimes be organized depending on the season. Fishing Excursions followed by 'Eat your Catch' Picnic on a deserted beach can be organized.
Victoria is 30 minutes away by car or by local bus. Bus stops to the south of Mahe and the Capital Victoria are just 2 minutes on foot. We have the Anglican Church and Catholic Church nearby for Sunday Mass.
A tour of Mahe, excursions to Praslin and La Digue, St Anne and the marine national parks are organized for you via Creole Travel, 7 degrees South or Mason's Travel, our local destination management companies who offer an excellent service to our clients at all times.

Other Excursions on Mahe :
- Seychelles Tea Factory, Sans Souci - Tea-lovers can visit the working tea factory (admission with/without guided tour Rs 25. 10am-4pm Mon-Fri) on the Sans Souci road about 3km above Port Glaud. It’s best to visit before noon, when you can see the whole process from drying to packing. The estate produces about 45 tonnes of organic tea per year for export.
- Scuba Diving Excursions - There are excellent dive sites off the southwestern coast. Diving Excursions can be arranged at the 'Beach Shop', for beginners and experienced divers alike, next door to Pieds dans L'Eau Holiday Apartments.
- Zip lining adventures and rock climbing at Port Launay, Ephelia Resort.
- Waterfalls at Port Glaud and snorkelling at Port Launay
- Botanical Gardens - Victoria, where you see the Coco de mer palm, fruit bats, the giant tortoises.
- Hiking with a tour guide, Copolia, Trois Freres, Botanical Gardens have maps.
- Bazaar or Market in Victoria, very colorful, selling tropical spices such as cinnamon, vanilla pods, saffran, flowers, fresh fish, fruit and vegetables.
